Real Swimming Time

Educational Series #13 - Real Swimming Time with Karen Baildon

Part 13 of our educational series with Karen Baildon

Real Swimming Time

So, what is real swimming time? Well, firstly, it’s fantastic that you’re coming to lessons, but half an hour swimming lesson per week is only 2 hours per month.

That’s just 12 hours every 6 months. And if you allow for things like sickness and holidays, it’s less than 20 hours each year.

Compare that to teaching a 5-year-old to read. It’s like expecting them to be a strong reader after one week at school.

Real swimming takes real time. Even one extra lesson per week increases your child’s learning capacity up to four times.
