Why do we teach with NO Goggles?

People quite often ask why we don’t use goggles in early swimming development. Well, goggles offer a false sense of security. We’ve seen so many children who have been taught to swim with goggles, then panic in water when they don’t have them on. This is dangerous and can affect a child’s safety, especially the ones who you consider to have strong swimming skills.

Learning to swim from the beginning without goggles reduces fear and anxiety in the water. Swimmers also become more adaptable in different swimming conditions. Safety is our priority. As soon as we feel that a child has strong water safety skills, goggles are introduced into our program.
